hey guys whats up, i just bought a "Giovanni" pocket bike last tuesday, it was brand new, and to be honest i have nooo clue about the bike, i rode its for the first 10minutes and the **** chain snapped a part and ive been waiting for my news ones to ship to me, as they will be here by tomorrow.

everytime i go to start up my pocketbike, it starts up fine and everything but the thing is loud as a MOFO!, and not to mention the **** thing blows out white smoke bigger than bowls like non stop white smoke, and the pocketbike came with a oil mixer bottle and tells me the requirements, i'm from Canada and i went to petro and bought some 2-cycle Synthetic Oil, i have no idea if thats good for it or not, the name was pretty convincing to me.

Welcome to the planet! Fellow Canadian here.

Your bike is a 49cc full fairing CAG

2 stroke motors always produce alot of smoke, that is why they are nick named 2-smokers. what kind of chain did it have? #25, #25H or TF-8MM?

synthetic 2 stroke oil from petro-Canada is fine. As far as gas goes though, you will get better performance out of some 93 Shell V Power than the 94 stuff from petro, I've tried both.

If you have any questions regarding tuning, upgrades and home made mods, dont hesitate!

I purchased a 47cc Gp rsr pocket bike from www.usapocketbikes.com and never started it for 8 months just put fuel and exacly correct mixture and the thing just wont start can you please give me some guidence on getting the bike up and running thanks.
pull the carb off and clean it out spotless...

look up petcock mod and perform it

do the 1/4" fuelline and fuelfilter upgrade

get a new NGK sparkplug BM6A and install it.......

mix new 93 octane premium fuel mixed to 40:1

After that your bike should be back up and running but a bit better....Good Luck

Gio, typical pocket bike, 80% work - 20% fun. Have you pulled the plug and see if you have a spark w/ the wire attached. If so, put a teaspoon of gas and put it back to see if it starts. If it starts and stalls probably something in the fuel system, check the carb first. Welcome aboard.
