low cost option for the minimoto upgrade to 24v:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/24V-LED-PO...ash=item339f66a20b:g:HFsAAOSwqu9VB83y&vxp=mtr

a few more bucks if you don't want to wait a month or longer for shipping:

for the PR200 to 36v you could go with stock Razor set, save some time on re-doing the connections... i've used this option a few times, works great with lipos too:

another option for the PR200 to 36v, you'll need to re-align a few connections but it's easy:

i've used everything i've posted fwiw, they're all mostly the same and from the same factory probably so no need to pay more for a label, generic stuff is fine for these components...

Both are have no battery and before i start buying parts, I'd like to start on the right foot. Also if buying separate is cheaper, are therebetter places than ebay?
good idea to do the homework first... if better means cheaper, then yes you can buy most of these parts from aliexpress to save a few bucks over ebay.

i've seen good deals with those kits, i've also priced out the same parts for less if i buy from different sellers.

for SLA batts i usually compare pricing on ebay vs chromebattery. i just bought a 4pack 12v 15Ah for cheaper than what i was finding on ebay or elsewhere.

if you want to talk lipos, hobbyking has a great sale right now on the multi-stars... i could offer more details on lipo setups but that's better off in a new thread.

i dont know about them hobby king bats they tend to wanna puff more then likely the reason they are inexpensive Max Amps are good never puffed not one and they hold what they say they will and you can use all most all of it.

but then you need the charger

if you use power tool battery's most of them have the low voltage cut off in the battery so you dont have to worry about over discharge and it going nuclear

lead acid sucks they are slow charging dont last have a poor power density they are freaking big and heavy if you crash and one breaks open you have the acid to deal with but i guess they are cheep you can get them for 12$ each online 25 at wallmart

yep pro/cons for just about everything discussed

LVC is great then again power tool batts dont have much Ah. 5Ah will be a short ride if used for an overvolt setup.

power tool batts arent spec'd for that high of max discharge either. 12v 9Ah SLA is rated at 135A max discharge (5s)... are those power tool batts rated for more than that?

lipos aren't as safe but if you do your homework and stay below the max discharge rating there's a good chance you won't have problems either. been running cheep zippys and multistars bought on discount for a few years now, no issues other than one pack has a off-balance cell.

low budget RC chargers + para boards are all that's needed, won't cost much more than a schumacher.

I have an 18v Honda mini moto bike minus the battery here in Northern California, I will give it away, but you would need to pick it up.

I would run 2 of them wired in parallel (google it) the more the AH the longer the run time will be you wont have any problems the only thing is if you have a power meter it will show the battery's full the entire time and you wont notice a speed drop the bike will all of a sudden just stop when the battery's are dead if you can find old broken power tools you can sacrifice them and harvest the battery holder part and mod it to strap it on your bike so you can pull the batterys in and out for easy charging on the ryobi charger you wont be able to charge them on the peace of junk worthless sh1t charger the bike comes with dont even try take the charging jack off the bike so you dont have some one try and catch it on fire.

has all the parts for this bike. But all the parts for this bike are
also comparable to the razor 200 pocketbike.
search the sit for honda minimoto!
I have 1 of these bikes and modified it to a 350 watt 24 volt motor.
3 12 volt 10 amp batteries and a 24 volt controller.
bike goes 27 mph on a slight downslope. lots of fun for the kids.
also changed the belt drive to chain #25

Once I saw a video where a guy did a 36v battery & speed controller swap upgrade on these where he claimed the motor that they came with is actually a 36v motor reduced to the 18v by the factory with the stock controller, but can find it or anything else like those instructions anymore. Does anyone here know how to & may be willing to share with me to pull off mod? Thanks

You can purchase complete kits on amazon.com pair the kit up with a lithium ion and you'll have plenty of power when you purchase your kit measure your motor and make sure that your motor matches the one you're going to swap.

Any 36v controller paired with a throttle and run 3 lead acid (cheap) or a lithium. I have used 2 hoverboard batteries in parallel work great.i charge them off a hoverboard. Other than some wiring, a fuse or breaker, and a power switch that's all you really need.
