On the block you will find a number cast mine is on the left side under the transmission. This is on the block generally you can find a casting on the head as well but sometimes they miss with that before they ship the bikes.......
if the casting says:
1p39fmb = 49cc
1p47fmf = 70cc
1p47fmf = 90cc
1p50fmg = 100cc
1p52fmh = 110cc
hope this helps

That's funny you say you would highly doubt the very markings I am actually looking at on the very motor I'm working on. I just got this basket case pit/ pocket bike in and literally the case is stamped 1P39FMB but the cylinder is stamped with 72CM³. Since it seems you have a hard time believing what your told here's a few pics just to prove what's being said.. now I'm trying to find out what I have so I was searching Google for information when I came across this thread. . This motor has no left side cover. Only 3 wire from the stator.a shifter lever but I don't see a clutch arm on the motor so I'm assuming it's an 70 cc Kickstart with automatic transmission. It appears to to be a 4 speed with neutral being all the way up and all the gears are shifting down, but I could be being mislead since it feels like 2 of the gears are slipping and sometimes grab but other times as I shift it slips. So if anyone has more information about what I have and am working with I'd greatly appreciate your knowledge View attachment 161052 View attachment 161053 View attachment 161050 View attachment 161051 View attachment 161053 View attachment 161054
It is a semi auto. No manual clutch but still has a clutch. Thus the shifter. Probably needs a new clutch.

hey mine says LX 86ml
Basically a 90cc, if you need to look up parts.
Hey I have a hs152fmh 05091527 stamped motor trying to figure out what motor this is it's a honda that's all I kno
It's a Honda clone it's a lincoln 125cc
the problem is that a lot of the engines stamped 48 and 49cc are actually 72cc, when you remove the head you can measure the bore size and you will notice that almost every engine stamped 48cc that I have come across is actually 72cc.
The cranks have different strokes that make it a 48cc I have just converted my 49cm³ to 88cm³ with a 110cc head, piston, studs, timing chain but because the stroke on the cranks are different it inky makes it 88cm³
