It is going to be hard to convert that bike to a Cag engine.

Is there a way to make a cag motor recharge battery or run lights with out total loss system?

Back in the day I had a little motor on my 10 Speed, The wheel would turn the motor and light a headlight on my bike, Now the theory would only apply only when the bike was in motion. but if you could get a battery that would get charged from the motor you might have a little motor luck with some lighting. Just a thought.
For around $8 on eBay got a 56 LED bike headlight and a tail light that can strobe or flash, need batteries. Pretty bright, and I use rechargeable batteries.
