Blata 2.5 or Babyblata
Nice looking bike. Super small but more power than a Chinese cag stock for stock
Well, got a decent deal, so I picked up this little Blata, as it's missing the carb, I read in a post the blata uses a 1414 Dellorto. Just wanted to know if this is correct as I would like to keep this all original.. Going to do total cleanup and restoration.
I might be 100% but I thought it was a 14/12 and 14/14 was the upgrade. Maybe one of the eruo guys can confirm.
Thanks. I’ll wait to hear.
You can use both, also 16/16 sha would do a good job.
Ok, just went to Manuals.com and found it.. Blata 1412 original carb. Thank you I’ll search for one. Any recommendations for websites .
For an original, I dont know of any sites but I heard Chrisi on hear can probably get you one.
Hello, starting to tear down this Blata 2.5 for restoration. Will probably go with a different paint job though. The bike was originally yellow and painted a crummy job blue. The serial number is CZ 28091 1. Does anyone know if this is a date code also or what year this Blata is ? Can't find any info on the internet. The carb was missing , so I located and newl Delorto 14/14, air filter, jet set and fuel lines from a shop which will be installed.
Looking forward to see the rebuild unfold here☺
This is, maybe, the original paint scheme. Yellow wth flames ?

Just finished this…..had it for over 25 yrs….rusty and grungy. The glass globe was intact. Just clean, polish, paint and got a new decal.

Had some time today so l started to reassembl the Blata 2.5. All parts disassembled and thoroughly cleaned. Got new bolts, washers and nuts and polished all hardware to be reused. Brake discs cleaned and resurfaced, and all bearings received a dab of red grease. Chained guard dings, dents and scratches removed and it’s since been sanded and polished. Front end polished and installed.
