Pull the plug and read it...the plug will tell you why...Its most likely from thick humid air and too much jetting ,,a/f screw setting or c-clip setting................
Might be in need of a valve adjustment from all the punishment youre putting on it or the valves just needs adjusting as regular service......The engine has to be dead stone cold to do the valve adjustment properly....Ya its prob from the high humidity here but it's only on my stock 18 with just cdi super coil and uni filter I tried adjusting the needle and from top to bottom notch and all in between no difference still choppy and not smooth just off idle like if I was in 4th at 25 mph my other bikes are fine tho
But one thing I did notice and I don't have any of my other bikes here is when I was changing the needle clip height I noticed the needle itself was kinda jiggily so to speak it had up and down movement and when you look inside where the clip sits there is nothing keeping pressure on it the retainer clip is there but it does not touch the needle cuz the needles sits in a small pocket and I found a small washer and ground got down to fit in the valley and now the needle does not move but actually seems a bit worse when i bring this one back to the others I'll take a look at one of my other carbs but that prob won't be till Thursday
