Kick Start issues, continued leaking of gas from the bowl and exhaust leaks w/ o ring

Alright, so the O rings came in and I added one because there was not one and there is still smoking as you can see toward the end of the video and I have leakage from the bowl, gas leaks out like its taking a **** and you saw that I had a hell of a time trying to kick start her. Not even the electric start could get her over. What else do I need to do to get this bike running properly? Any help is well appreciated!

did you tighten that screw close to where the gas is leaking?

The video is sort of long, did you watch it? I clearly showed that the screw on the bottom of the bowl ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BE TIGHTENED!
i didnt watch it either but for sure your carb is acting up, thats why its hard to start
i feel like the float isnt rising up and shutting the gas flow off, like its stuck down, its also possible that an air vent is blocked too
you can test the carb (messy)
take the carb off the bike, take the bowl off the carb, hook gas to the carb, it should start to flood out, lift the float with your finger gently and the flow should stop, if it does then that part is working right and the float is getting hung up
no i didnt watch you try to kick start the bike for 10 mins... id just buy an aftermarket carb

It took me maybe less than 5 minutes to kick start the bike. I might be interested in buying an aftermarket card. But I want to exhaust all other possible ways first before I go out my way to buy an aftermarket Carb. Any particular ones I should look for?

I thought I would help you all out by making a video, sometimes im not very descriptive but the video will always show the truth!

Now CAM2 recommended the 10 degree float, I'm not sure if I did it right, maybe I should unhook the carb and take a video and see if it looks good or not or what the root cause of the gas just to spill out.

Also keep in mind I did the restrictor tab removal mod and I bumped the c-clip down on the needle. I screwed down the Air/fuel screw all the way tight and took a permanent marker to mark it so i can keep my place and turned the a/f screw out 2 1/2 turns.

What else would cause the exhaust to leak out smoke when I put in the o-ring?? Maybe I should try the copper version to see if it makes a difference or not.
Ok ya I sat through that long *** vid the smoking I saw was not a exhaust leak it was burning gas off the pipe or grease from you hands that is not a problem at all it will all eventually burn off
As for the carb problem it def looks like it is overflowing I would do the test that blitz said take off the carb and take the bowl off and hook a gas line to the carb let it pour out and then push the float up and the gas should stop if it does than the float is not set right the 10 deg float level is to allow enough fuel into the bowl you can set the carb on a level surface and use a clinometer app or degree level app on your I phone I pod or smartphone and check to see if you have the correct level

Thank you very much sir for taking the time to view my video to properly diagnose whats going on. Extending a hand goes a long way and I appreciate it! I also want to thank BlitzMInc too for helping a fella out!

So I don't waste gas or the potential for a hazard. Can I drain all the gas out from the gas tank and use water just for this test? Obviously i'll wait for the gas tank to dry out before I use gas again.
Ya I don't c why not just flush with gas before reinstall I test my tanks with soap and water to find leaks so I don't c the prob
i was at work at the time and didnt have time to watch the vid
im personally not a fan of the stock carb in any way nor do i feel like any mods are worthwhile doing to them
of course not everyone feels this way
my very first mod was replacing my leaking (ya me too) carb with a 22 mikuni, also called a 26 taperbore, and it actually added power i felt
this is it http://www.ahpminis.com/store/product_info.php/cPath/26_61/products_id/764
your bike should start in 4-5 kicks if all is good
