Ok so I have just joined and I hope I get a response, i have a Baja minibike and I am wanting to put a 420cc predator motor on it. My only problem is that I don’t know what upgrade kit I should use, im seeing if I use a bigger cam I have to grind down the inside of the block and the lobes on the cam. Is there a way I can put a bigger cam without the grinding?

I had to grind my cam for clearance when I put a billet connecting rod.

Generally if the manufacturer says you have to grind something for clearance then you have to do it you should contact the manufacturer of the aftermarket part for instructions and fitment issues you're aftermarket parts should come with instructions on where to grind and how much to take off for the clearance.

No matter what put everything together and see where you need to clearance something for any engine
