Youre gonna have to make an adapter that links both cranks together at 180 degrees apart aswell as an adapter to bolt the clutch mount end to the flywheel mount end without a flywheel...Without a CNC milling machine this is gonna be quite impossible or quite costly.....

My way of doing them is to get engine case screws that go through both engines to bolt them together...Theres three adapters needed,,one crank and 1 case and 1 secondary coil mount...Last time I ran the figures on a triple deuce build it was gonna cost me $460 per set of engines for the main adapters aswell as $260 for the coil mount adapters with materials included and a $670 setup/programming fee for all 3 parts and thats at my costs not the publics....

Theres one bad thing about that design...That type of engine doesnt cool all too well and would need an electric auxillary fan or constant moving air to keep it running cool and powerful........If it was watercooled that would be a different story

I hope that your project turns out as planned......Good Luck

I forgot to add...I hope someone gets back to you on how they built theirs because when I tried one guy said he was in the middle of patenting the adapters for full production and will have them for sale sometime by 2013.I asked how much does he think hes gonna charge and got no answer..My uncles bought out my dads interest in his machine shop when he retired almost two years ago and wish I would of taken over but I have too many businesses I run myself and couldnt take another on.......

Theres smaller cc twin cylinder RCMK r/c engines for boats that are built that way aswell as a dual watercooled engine for the HPI 5Bn 1/5 scale r/c rail called the Oneill Brothers racing 50.8cc twin cylinder watercooled racing engine..

How many pounds of torque do them engines put out?? Pushing a light boat and pushing 250lbs of bike and rider is a whole different story, lol.

They push between 8 and 22hp..The Oneill 50.8cc pushes 18hp on methanol..The Baja5b buggy weighs about 35lbs with the twin engine setup..Those engines are designed just for the highest torque you can get as the second cylinder reduces revs with the higher displacement so if your 49cc cag engines spin 13,000 each individually youll most likely not spin past 10k with locked together twins.........60" and 72" r/c boats arent that light and when you add the water friction coefficient factor it gets just as intense as a pb with a 250lb rider...............

well insted or merging how about 1 and 1 in front of each other like you done on your drag mini cam2 cause i will putting length
on the bike would that be easier

Indeed stretching the frame would be easier and that cag will be quite long but a better way would be to utilize that second frame you posted up cut the neck off one and the swingarms from the other then merging the two together...........
Ii was looking at a way to stack two cag engines atop each other and turn the top barrel 180 degrees..only problem I found so far is where Im gonna mount the gastank and place the footpegs unless i use my X1 frame............
I was thinking the same thing for the inline twin engine drag bike, an X frame of some kind, thats wider and more room.

An X7/X18 frame would be pretty sweet...Youd get some excellent topend speeds with 8" X7 rims and tires on it....
Yeah not a bad idea, it would be lower to the ground than the 10" rims and tires & the axles are both 12mm. But the cost of the parts, no used bikes where I live, at least not yet, lol. I like the X15 w/ the lower rails and beef up the frame and lose the rear shock.

Yep thats true,,even the X12 would be eye candy if modded right..too bad we dont live where this guy does...The link he posted of the cag frame isnt the only cheap frames they sell...they got lucky 7s and x18 frames with forks and swingarm cheap too...Not too sure on the x15 though...
