that motor is a good one. I believe it is actually the same as the 800 watt motor that was used in the Rad2go White shark scooter-one of the most powerful stock motors ever put on a cheap scooter. What controller did you end up running-the 60 volt Xtreme??
My son loves his bike with the same motor and 48 volt set up and stock gearing. he can take off very quickly, goes 25 on the straight, 20 up fairly steep hills, and tears it up in the dirt. What amazes me is he can also go way over 10 miles on a charge at full power. The motor doesn't even get warm with him riding it. I have had to hop up my ride a bit more so I can still hang with him!! I just put a 48V 12AH LiFePO4 battery in my ride. Man, those things pack a wallop for their size and weight. 25 pounds lighter than 4 12V 12AH Lead acid batteries.
This is what I did:Where can you buy sprockets for the stock motors/replacement motors from tnc scooters? I need some front sprockets that would be good for riding around in grass (i.e. smaller than stock).
What are the stock sizes of chain and sprockets?
Will there be a jump in performance if I switch from the stock 500w to the tnc 750w and that is all?
how did u get your parts and where did u get them??Hi Everyone I'm Back,
I know it's been a while but yes, I have continued to modify my 2-MX 60 Volt 1,000 Watt Razr Dirt Bikes!
I am still waiting for my motors to arrive but I still have been working on them once in a while.
I welded 6" front fork extensions on the front ends of my Dirt Bikes down where the brake calipers are located. I did that because I added even longer and larger 12" rear shocks that raised the back end up to high. My bikes stand up as high as full size motocross bikes now! Now I will be able to jump a lot bigger jumps without bottoming out!
I also added an additional 5 more amp hours to my previous 12 amp hours bringing me to 17 amp hours of ridding time!
I have also murdered out my dirt bike rims to Gloss Black for a more aggressive look with Dupont Paint!
I will post my updated photo's when I get my motors in, hopefully within the next month!!!
