OH!! and when i bought the pocket bike the guy said there is no electric start…. how do i check if there is?? heres a video of my pocket bike on youtube

Welcome to the planet, that X1 looks in pretty good shape. Looks like your missing the estart and pullstart. Can get those on pocketbikeparts.com. GL with the rebuild.

You need the Moon MS starter housing, It's black inside with 2 pins the hook the knotches on the round starter paw. Both styles look the same on the outside of the cover, the inside and starter cover, is what you want to look at. The white inside cover is for an alum retangle paw with paddle. I have both.

Its got electric start...I can see an armature behind the starter pawl......This is how you start an X1........you set the choke,,pump the primerbulb 10x,, turn on the key,,squeeze the rear brake lever and push the start button...If the battery and wiring is good it will crank over.........

Some of the bikes have a switch that cuts off the starter motor till you pull in the rear brake and or clutch lever or front brake on my X18.
Look at where your brake grips are, are there any wires coming out of the housing??

The yellow or orange pushbutton on the throttle..Thats the starter pushbutton...

i THINK its my charger,its dead maybe! i have a kill switch, i pressed the rear brake and then the yellow button and it didn’t work, or????

like the kill switch? i pressed the rear brake and the yellow button. it didn’t start… maybe i need gas and oil? i have BARELLY in there..

If it turns over first pull the spark plug and look for a spark then put alittle gas down the carb and try again.

i have no idea, so i put the carb button thing down. then i pumped the one thing on the carb, turned the key, pressed the rear brake and the yellow button. nothing is happening……………….. I’m gonna send you a video right now of it with out the body and stuff, and if it needs anything…. thanks!!
