I just purchased one from http://losangeles.craigslist.org for $360.

Its stamped bosuer on the engine. I do have a couple of things i wanna do to it before i start theme-ing it out.

Pros: bike runs great, 4speed manual, front brakes are good and the exhaust/forks look cool.

Cons: in need of new rear brake pedal w/ rear hydraulic disc brake, previous owner cut off the bracket for the kick stand, rear suspension squeeks alot and no fairings and no headlight or tail light

My pocketbike wishlist:
1. Kick stand w/ bracket
2. Rear brake pedal & rear hydraulic brake
3. Rear adjustable coil suspension
4. Full fairing set
5. Headlight & tail light
6. Trail tech vapor

My plans are to restore then mod it.

Anyways, I dont have a clue what needs to be serviced.. If someone here can please tell me

What oil do i have to use, what liquid do i put inside the cooler, how do i service my brakes... Help please.

Thanks for looking

Well, i had the bike for about a month now.. so far everything is legit.
The bike runs great :)

I stopped by the shop today to cut the frame and mount on my seat pan and tail light.

Let me know what you guys think...
I still dont know where to start on wiring..
Any help would be nice.

Nice bike, love the inverted forks.

What are you trying to add to the bike (wiring)?

Hugh
SDscooters
Thanks :)

I'm trying to install the taillight & turn signal. The wiring is kinda tricky.. The right front brake lever has a brake switch but isnt connected and The left clutch lever has both signal and brake switch/wiring that flows under the tank. the weather is too HOT making me to lazy to check.

For the turnsignals do i need a relay?
No but you will need a flasher you can just use a reg car flasher if you like from any auto parts store
Very nice bike, i can say from personal experience you will want that fairi g for behind the seat...... I uave had my x18 for 4 days now, and my butt hurts like heck...LOL goose it and slide back and you hit that bar....

Yours is in a lot better shape than mine though...LOL you have some fairings...and brakes period.. LOL i have my brakes and a new clutch lever and cable coming, along with a few fairing pieces to make it look like a buell type of bike

@drgnprelude - thanks a flasher is what i meant...

@BogieBoy - I have no way of getting the rear seat fairing because i have a long seat pan on there now... I cut that bar that ur talking about. If you look at the attached pictures you might see it. I wish i had an x18. But i ended up with the bosuer.

If you guys have the time... Check out my youtube channel so see more progress on my bike lol.

LOL i noticed that after i posted.... Thats what i get for skimming....LOL

And yeah, this little 18 is a beast....LOL had it to 44mph and still needs some major tuneup....
44mph thats not to bad!! I havent had the time to do top speed run but for sure im going over 30mph.

My rear brake doest have any brakefluid. So its kinda scary just using the front brake and clutch.
That's pretty much all I use is the front the rear is more a panic skid pedal lol

:eek:Mine doesnt have ANY brakes right now....they should be here tomorrow....LOL only brakes i have right now are the engine and gears....LOL

And its really not bad considering my 260# fat fanny on the seat....LOL i can only imagine the thoughts of anyone who sees me riding....6'2" 260# on a 58" long bike...LOL
She's coming along... A word to the wise, do not put more weight than neccesary on your bike. Or you can do major damage to your swingarm. Your motor is a 110cc though, but it makes the same amount as a 125cc. I don't even think a 110cc with a 114cc bbk will out power it.
Oh another thing,i was told NOT to use tap water in these motors. Use disstilled water tap water will ruin the internals over a period of time.
Your front brakes deos most of the stopping. Your rear brakes really won't do much but cuase you to slide out. I have absolutely know rear brakes what so ever. Well let's just say I have more than enough stopping power.lol
Word. I have a feeling im gonna need new brake pads due to the stopping getting weaker. But yea...

I plan to do a tune up by the end of next month.

@swheels - is there any ngk plugs i can use?

Also anyone here know what kickstands i can work with..
The regular hot ngk thats bout it.
Are you sure it's an X15, looks like an X19 rear fork never seen a stock bike w/ under front forks or water cooled. Are you sure it's not an oil cooler?? You need 20-40wt motorcycle oil, you have wet clutches, don't put car oil in it.
Its def a water cooled bike its made by boser I think is the name the rear of the bike is a little different and the motor is set forward more and the forks are inverted as well as the pipe that is on it is stock as well just so u know epr I looked them up as well when I first saw it
The body was x15 with different lower fairings and a different tail with directional two brake lights and a plate mount
Yes epr it's an x15 a sorta special edition. The chassis is longer plus the benefit of the watercooled motor. The motor bore x stroke is a 49.5 x 57mm definitely liquid cooled. I have the same motr except it has been bored out to a 131cc.
Also this bike has been out even before the aircooled x15. Just a very few made it to the U.S., there's even a 150cc watercooled motor that came out years ago.

Hmm... Any specific model?

From what i read its water cooled... Lmao. And i put water in it with no problems. As of oil man... Im so unsure what oil to use now... o_O

I took my bike out for a drive ealier today. My leg touched the engine and it was super hot... Is this normal i feel like its over heating..
omg, dude your so fking lucky
i call first...
you can use a regular x18 kickstand, it will bolt up to the bottom of your motor, i had to beat the angle out some but now my stand is even allowed on the track if i tie it up, the previous owner did the right thing cutting that bracket off imo
check the nsr and nsf body fairings
