My GRC-GP avatar bike had no body work when I got it, I put a new full body set for an MT-A2 Cag, was $ 80 then, but they are asking a lot more now. I got mine from eBay seller morethenhundreds, (MBPN, mini bike parts now, or MBPN.com. Chrisi, is the best supplier for Euro parts for us right now, I just got some parts this week, he is in Austria, my wife has friends there, lol. He is also a Racer I believe.

After a bit of tinkering with the starter and water pump, I was finally able to get the bike running. Thanks for all the help fellas!

The only thing I'm missing is the starter side foot bracket (impossible to find apparently) and the starter side bottom ferring. Any tips on where I might be able to source those?
I'll have the cover for the waterpump o ring on stock. And when you give me some measurements I will look if there will fit a footpeg support from a newer model.

Yeah, I have heard the GRC-RR body works with the RSR. I might try something like that. The unfortunate part is I'm only missing a bottom starter side faring. The rest of the body, I am repairing on my own.

Hey Chrisi - thanks for all the parts you have been sending me! I had the water pump pully cover and o-ring removed for the photo.

I have attached a photo of the footpeg.

A-B ~ 51mm center
B-C ~78mm center
A-C ~100mm center

Does anyone have any advice on my muffler? Looks like I'm missing the end cap. Should i look for an end-cap or a whole new muffler?

Also - anyone have a stand for sale in the US?

I would first look for a OEM body panel, its only one part. When I got my GRC GP I could have gone to Europe and bought all new body work, that's only primer, no paint. Over $700 total, more than the bike is worth, lol. A new exhaust is like $400 w/ muffler. The pipe is around 1/2" OD, there are all kinds of after market mufflers or glass pack for under $50.
RC cars & truck use a small muffler for $20 attaches w/a rubber hose to your pipe end.

Muffler is OK, looks like a older proma muffler, the endcap should be presst inside or is it completely open at the end?

looks like the cap is completely missing. I think i will try to make my own cap with a large washer. Probably won't seal well, but its the best idea I've got.

All my euro pipes the head pipe and rear muffler is held on by springs. There are kits with springs and the U clips that get welded to the OD of the pipe for the springs to attach.

New paint. Looks like its running pretty well! A little slower than I thought - ~35mph. The engine must be tired because it seems like its getting fuel fine.
35mph is OK for a Polini 6.2 engine, it's also depends on the gearing.
Bad news there will not fit any newer footpegsupport and rsr footpegsupport is no more available.

My Blata 2.5 did 35mph.....Not blazingly fast but it got there........Id say unless its geared abnormally high like in the 11:1-13:1 ratio range it should be hitting north of 40mph with a 6.2 case...My Polini with 4.2 case hit 40mph before mods and 8tth pinion...

Whats your squish setting?

Whats the compression number...?

When was the last time you checked the reeds?

When did you perform your last leakdown test?

What size and brand carb do you have on it..?

Pull the sparkplug and post a pic of it..Your jetting could be off too......

All these are key variables to keeping tabs on the current state of your engine to make sure its with-in specs to deliver proper performance...

Good Luck
