Hey whats up guys? I'm another newb to the mini moto scene but you got to start somewhere right? Well I guess first things first, about the bike I have. I was told its a Polini 911 but I've posted pics so maybe I can get a bit of conformation on the information I was told. the piston and cylinder look like crap, not sure what the kid did to it that it came from but either way whats done is done and I plan to fix it. Are there any options to go bigger or should I just stick to the parts from Polini and rebuild it? Any help is much appreciated.

yeah I really have no idea, I got most of it in pieces and that chain is all rusted out anyways. I just cant seem to find a master link on it so may need to cut it off? I'm going to be ordering a new cylinder and piston from midsouthminimoto as well as the gaskets for everything. Just going to do a complete rebuild with new crank bearings, seals, head gasket, connecting rod bearing etc. I'm a car guy, give me anything to do on a car/truck and I'm dam good at fixing anything. So I figure this should be cake, but we will see, lol.

The chain you have is a #25...buy a 10ft roll of it with 3 masterlinks for $20 bux shipped..ebay,,grainger,,mcmaster carr are a few places

While you have the case split take the time to blueprint the lowerend case and lowerend case to head to increase velocity..Two strokes make huge power through mega velocity and efficient scavenging

fkelchner.!! The Minimoto you there is no other than the earlier and famous GRC GP Midimoto. A Person That goes by the name "Nipples"can probably help you out a lot with getting familiar with your chassis.
Hope that helps.! Cheers.

And you have the Polini series 2 set of cases which yes you can switch to a 40cc or 50cc water cooled motor. The air cooled not sure the 50cc is still around may only be the 4.2 head but with the series 2 cases makes it the 6.2 HP air cooled motor

Yup.. GRC GP1 with 6.2 Air Cooled 40cc Polini engine.. I burned up my piston and cylinder real quick with that 14/14 carb it comes stock with.. I just couldnt find teh sweet spot or maybe had a air leak.. lol who knows.. I bought another piston and ring and then pretty much found out my cylinder was toast also.

I have spent BANK trying to upgrade mine to water cooled 50 and ended up stealing a water cooled 40cc head from another bike I had to at least finish the water cooled part..

Here is the link to that thread.. http://www.pocketbikeplanet.com/showthread.php?t=79739
