Hey everyone

My names Ricky im from Duluth. I recently recovered a gas scooter that I had in my grandmas garage for the last 8 or 9 years. I traded a friend for it back then for a pair of sneakers when I was like 13 and never got to ride it because it needed a new tire, throttle cable gas tank/lines. It wsa in rough shape when I pulled it out a few weeks ago. But it has came a long way since then. I have been building it the last few weeks. It started with a Robin 33.5cc 4 stroke. It started right up after a simple tune up and ran great! But it wasnt fast enough for me, and living in Duluth, it didnt do to great on the hills. So I picked up a 49cc pocket bike motor. It needed a few things to make it work with the scooter, but now thats its installed it flies!! I also have added a performance pipe, 25 inch rise ape hanger handle bars, 36 inch sissy bar, and banana seat sshould be here in the next couple of days. I will post up some before and after pics once I get the seat installed.

Thats the story behind the low-ped. I have a few other things planned for it, such as boost bottle and a nitrous Kit. Ive learned quite a bit about small motors from tinkering on it and hope to learn a lot more from some of the experienced guys on here, and hopefully help out a few people how ever I can!

I should have known,lol.
Yea, they are some classic lowrider handle bars. I had trouble finding the really tall ones. I finally found them on amazon. I think I paid like 40 bucks or something like that. They really improve the stabality over the stock bars. Im in the process of rigging somethig up with the old scooter goosneck so I can make them fold down to fit in my car lol:thumbsup:
