There is no such thing as the best bike company. Just personal prefence. I have a lot of differnt bikes my R1 with a polini engine is what we call stupid fast, I love the way my B1 blackjack handles and it's fast also. But my new toy is a BMS with no polini engine.

Hey, D-mack, talked to T-sun about the front water pump system. A $70 Blata clutch housing & bracket & $35 for the pump. But it has a 80mm bell. I have the bell housing mounted w/ the clutch you sent me, but I did not measure the dia. Do you know?? Looks like a Cag 3 shoe clutch. I have everything but a water pump. Thinking about running a water pump for it with the motor and electrics from the Razor Rocket, on the bench it will be mounted to.
I have a Blata Orgami copy 50cc, and your old 40cc Polini Rep engine. I like the Polini, because they don't run water thru the cases and up thru the cylinder. Water inters thru the cylinder and up thru the head & to the radiator.

No, not sure what size the bell is. I know it is one of the smaller kind to work with that clutch. I have a 80mm Polini clutch and I couldn't fit the replica housing on the Polini clutch.

Ummmm Blata originally used China to make the frames and engine Cases... Of Course China rolled with it.... Some say they still are made in China and they are just assembled in the Czech Republic...

Blata is in the state that they are in because they kids are not winning on Blata bikes and there are much more competitive minimotos out there.... DM, Phantom, Polini.... ;)

Cheers

Pocketbikes seem to have died out in the states.

But I used to ride from 2004-2006 and I had an old Chinese cag replica and I was a padded up parking lot warrior...

fast forward to now and my friends dad gave me their old blata minimoto 2.5

it was the cheapest version they had at $1000 msrp and I used to love it! Now its mine, and the sport is dead lol.

Unfortunately young people that used to go out and do fun things like race pocket bikes just sit at home and play video games it's gotten so bad that even people under the age of 21 getting a driver's license and a vehicle is in steep decline.

The other problem is the liberal way of thinking is being passed on to them at schools they don't think they have to work for anything thinking they can just sit around and everything will be handed to them this is why the teen suicide rate is climbing so high when reality strikes after they become of age and the handouts are all gone and they can't complete even the minuscule of tasks such as figuring out how to rinse there plate and placeing it in the dishwasher after dinner or cleaning up after yourself. Too stupid to figure out why they can't get a girlfriend then they come to the realization that they are really worthless and they have no cards to bring to the table...

I bought a brand new Blata 2.5 from a carshow in 1999..It was the same amount..When I found out the engine wasn't manufactured by them I kinda felt cheated. The engine is a Robin NB-411 made for powertools.

The sport died for numerous reasons but not like the rant from Kitty. The day the law was made that parents couldn't hit their unruly kids is the day America took a real dump and the day the snowflake was enacted...

The sport died because of greedy manufacturers that charge an arm and a leg just to own a viable race bike and had to give their first born to keep racing...Most had businesses they used as tax write-offs and tax laws changed considerably on whats deductable.....

Then there are the track fees that get higher each year also the greedy land developers that secretly offer boatloads of cash for the land to the track owners..Most investors are linked to AlGore.

At first track owners feel compelled to keep the track open for the sake of the people but when the heat on the wick gets turned up so hot that the track owner cant stand the heat anymore and eventually he folds......

Pocketbike racing died because of a 3 edged sword in greed.........

Heres where I used to race......Now its a golf course...…………..LOL
