Took the bike out today. It would rev at the same RPMs as before, but wasn't taking me up the hills they way it had previously. Just sluggish, even at high RPM. I recently adjusted the rear brake because I could pull the handle all the way down to the bar, so I wanted more braking power. Seems like I may have adjusted it too much.

When I got off I could smell burning. Either metal or electronic. Couldn't pinpoint the source but I expect it's my rear disc screaming about me riding it while the brake is essentially partially engaged. Can anybody think of any other reasons for the burning smell? It's 100 degrees in Baltimore today, so the bike was pretty hot.

I'll be fixing the brakes when they're cooled down. Thanks.
