Jetting is a science and going off some elses jetting can and will just throw you off unless they live in the same town and yet them having the same exact setup as you will be quite unlikely..............

It sounds like your bike has severe reed flutter or its running a tad too rich............

Pull the sparkplug to see how its burning and also do a squish calculation and a compression test on the engine to see if it falls within specs..........

You should be running the PHVA 17.5mm carb with 88 mainjet stock on that engine......
Heres the bible of the real bike in PDF format.............Go to the download manual tab......................

Man, that's the honest truth, every engine is different, tried my best to make the twin drag engines the same and they are alittle different. The best one will go up front and pull the second one along, hopefully, lol.
It's a hit or miss thing and then the air get hotter or colder and messes with yor head again.
