Hey PBP,

I have just reassembled my bike and had some issues with the throttle cable...

When i compress the spring, the little stone at the end of the wire would come out and would render the throttle (handle) useless, since it isn't pulling anything...

I got lucky putting it in and got it working, but how would i resolve this problem in the future?

Cheers!

If its the stock carb you are talking about.

There is a c clip and another notched clip that is on the top of the slide. These are in turn pushed down by the spring holding everything together.

I am thinking you are missing the notched clip.

Both are there...

The clip holds the piston needle in place, for adjustment on the low end.

I don't think you should remove the c clip. You can move it up and down is the performance isn't satisfying...
