Nope i believe the gear stacks are long. Though in the past there have been people who have converted vertical motors into horizontal motors and vise versa. I have a 1979 honda xl75 5spd engine, which i know will not fit my x18 because its a vertical cylinder....but, i love the 5spd trans.... Does anyone know if you can "trans"plant (pun intended) the 5 spd into a 4spd lifan/clone engine? I would love to have the 5 spd.....LOL

And you can put a horizontal motor in. You'll need a welder though.
