ok so i finially broke down and got a engine for my x18. its not complete, but its mostly there, it needs a timing chain roller, a clutch thrust bearing, stator assy, and a carby, shes a 3 valve and im very happy i picked her up, one question, WHERE DO I GET PARTS!

That's an sdg 3valve 110cc engine. It has more power than the 2valve 110cc. You can get a inner or a outer rotor kit and the timing chain roller would work from a regular 110cc. Thrust bear can be bought from tbolt and i think any thrust bearing setup from these engines should work.
so i did good?
I think so,that motor has been sitting on ebay for quite sometime. I guess as long as the seller said theres nothing else wrong with it. Also take i pic from the top and post it. I think i see something very important i don't want to say anything thing till I'm sure.
those are ebay pics, i just bought it last night. what do you see?

Looks like theres a space for an auto cam chain tensioner. I don't remember those motors having them.
yea i got more pics, its there but its blank, so its plugged...i mean im new to this breed of engines and i payed 110 shipped so i think i did good considering its a 3 valve which are freaking rare!
It would have been even better if it was still there. The self adjusting tensioners really work good. I'm sure there's a company that still probably sells them just gotta do a lot of searching. I found a company many years back but unfortunately that info died with my computer. Actually started to buy that engine but i had question myself. Do i really need another engine? I'm glad somebody eventually bought it it was there for quite awhile.

.
Getur up and running.
im glad i found it. not too upset about it not having a electric start, and that tbolt site has all my clutch needs.so im pretty happy, im thinking about fuel injecting it...have you ever done anything like that before?
I have ordered a system 2x before but it took so long on shipping had to cancel the order. I've even talked the to owner of one of the companies. He was very interested in me putting it on my bike to race, once i proved to him that i actually race. We struck up a deal the downside is i went to the forum. And the one person that got his running never posted up a follow up vid.lol Plus out of all the units sold nobody posted a vid of anything running with it. So i didn't feel like being the Guinea pig. Plus till this date i don't know if they ever came off back order .lol I keep getting the bug but i think i'd rather just to the track and race vs tinkering.
Oh i have to throw this teaser out there.lol There's another company that's making an efi system. This system is so much more self contained and efficient. That's the one i'm waiting for and i have no doubts about this system. Becuase i own 2 of their micro systems that they made a long time ago. They wouldn't tell when but they told me they make them already for some companies. I can't say anymore. Lol

I tried to post a pic but can't seem to do it this time from my phone. I've posting pics from my phone for ages. This is all i can do now it's just the waiting game. Oh and yes it's programmable in real time and while the engine is off. It does all the tricks the larger more bulky efi system does.
