anyone know what kind of bike this is??? all i know is its Chinese and it has a 50cc motor, I just want to know what model it is so when I eventually legalize it. The other day I took it out for a test run, and the speedometer may be off but it also felt like I was flying, I got it to 50mph. My little cag does 29mph and I know i was going almost twice as fast, Im gonna use my gps to compare to the speedometer. well this is the bike..

does the x17 come with a 110cc, well it could have been changed out. thanks for the quick answer. and what year would you say, like 02 or 03? I have no clue how old pocket bikes are
Looks like it could be between 03 and 05.....They came 70cc like the X12 and dont quote me but even came 110cc aswell....Dont quote me Ive never owned one but have seen a few.............

Looks like a descent bike....Good Luck and lots of good rides on it...............
Holy crap there are no parts available anywhere, I even searched sls029 and also gH-a029 and got nothing I'm looking for the front fairing so I can get some lights hooked up, I might just get two clamp on lights, and clamp them on the forks. Is there anothe fairing that is comparable? And can anyone tell me what shock should I get to support 2 people?

To support 2 people youre gonna need a shock with a 2000 lb loadspring.....

I forgot to mention that finding parts for that model was gonna be a slight witchhunt.......PM hugh [sdscooters] and check out fancy scooters....
Stevnmn,

No body parts available for the x17 to my knowledge, suggest making it into a ducati style race bike.

Saw a post in the electric pb section where someone used a harbor freight headlight. Looked nice installed on a little dirtbike. Should be able to help you with stalk mounted turn signals (LED), if you need them.

Seeings that bike has a similar frame design to the Blata B1 Immortal Id look into that possibility.......Any chance you have any B1 bodykits Hugh?
Had to look up the immortal lol, nope nothing for that bike other than the basics.
The seat looks a bit like an x12 (1 piece) (also unavailable) to me.

That's rare to step across a x17!
I just installed the hp cdi and coil but it seems the same. The rev is just as high as the stock. I messed with the carb fuel and air screws but that didn't help. Should I upgrade the carb? It's got the pz19 what's a good size?
And I also want to change out the exhaust to one that looks like your normal ninga look. As you can see the pipe does a 90 then a 45 out. Should I buy a new pipe or try to bend/ weld the muffler to a lower spot?

Get a 22mm

Youre gonna have to install a larger mainjet like a 75...stock is 73......
Can someone point me in the right direction for a shock with a 2000 lb spring It measures 7.5" mount to mount

good luck with the 2k lb spring in that size ad for the shock you gotta scour eBay and the next also search for the size you need by converting the in size to mm and add or subtract some to find one you need and why are you looking for a 7.5 shock eye to eye did you build a shock mount ???
No that's the size that's on the bike
You can see the shock in the first picture on the first post,
Oh ok use your stock spring and find a shock that will be the same length maybe a couple mm taller or shorter will be ok but don't go any bigger or smaller than that or it will drastically raise or lower the bike and like I said search for the shock length eye to eye in inches and mm and then also try searching for it on total length of the shock itself in inches and mm ss well cuz some people list them differently
The closest I found were the fox shocks for mountain bikes I'm thinking of running a longer back axel and installing 2 shocks like the have on some Harley's just need to weld a mount on the back where the seat is. Doing so I should be able to mount like 12 or 13 inch shocks
