Here is an update. The other day I ported and lightly polished the intake and exhaust ports on the X-Treme scooter.

Intake port widened about 1/8 inch on both sides and about 1/16 inch on bottom.

Exhaust port widened 1/8th inch on each side and 1/16 inch on top.

I found an old broken carb off an X7 and managed to swap the parts over from the EPA carb to get it working. I also widened it up a bit with a Dremel and polished. It has a bigger inlet and more adjustments than the EPA carb.

It smokes more after installing the adjustable carb. Now the motor can actually get the fuel it needs. Stay tuned.
