I have an extra x1 pocket bike engine laying around it will not crank freely I put a pull start on and seems to be stuck or something is it blown ? Please help

it might be seized i would take the spark plug out and shoot some wd 40 into the cylinder wait a little then try to pull it.

It may even be that the coil came loose and is stuck to the flywheel. Regap the coil to flywheel using a business card if needed.

If the transmission is still attached to it make sure the two long screws arent too long and binding the flywheel............

The e-starter could be fried to bits or theres something lodged in the magnets...

my buddy had the same problem. ended up being the metal gasket part between the engine and the carb was upside down causing the lip to catch on to something inside
