Im looking to go about putting a 50cc gy6 engine on my X1 Could i put ten inch tires on it from the scooter how would i go about this tips and any suggestions would be appreciated

Your scooter is shaft drive.......correct?..X1's have 8" fronts and 9" rears........Fitting a tire 2" larger in the front isnt that hard.....

Youre gonna have to lose the swingarm and chop the frame to accept the engine/trans and shaft driven rear package ,,,weld it in and make a shock mount

How would i do that doing it isnt a problem im just not sure where i need to make mods and what exactly im fitting in where

Do you have the scooter or not?...If so youd know the engine and CVT scooter trans are casted into one piece,,,,,,,,,,,,

Yes i Do have it the engines still on it also only 1000 miles its a 2011 VIP and oh okay my bad i made the assumption since the pocketbikes trans was interchangeable maybe itd be, i saw the video looks nice but dosent help in determining the places that need modification, has anyone done this modification on an x1 on these forums before ?

Okay i looked at it more the engine bolts into the old swing arm holder right? And where do i need to modify the frame? After the frame modification whats next?
