OK i have a x15 question for you guys, im looking into getting a 140cc piranha engine, will this motor fit? im asking because the original 110cc head barely clears the lower part of the frame, will i have to cut those lower bars or would that weaken the structure. i noticed the x19 and other models don't have those lower bars underneath the engine......

here is a photo of my bike so you can see what im talking about

Not sure about the head fitting, but cutting your crossbars will significantly weaken the frame
i have a first gen x15 frame and it doesnt have the front down tubes at all, id keep the lowers for bolting the body to but you can cut or bend the front to clear
i have that motor with the 146cc and race head and its crazy fast

Those downtubes are designed to hold the body stiff..Theres a member named 5starsky who chopped the downtubes all the way off and tywrapped an X7 bodykit on it......The frame survived but his rear swingarm didnt...........Thats what you should be the most concerned about......
What swing arm would be a good choice for this build, and if possible can someone send me a link plz.
Also im not looking to use those plastics, only the tank and the the rear seat part

There are none that bolt-on direct unless you pay big wood....One time I was looking into using an aluminum pitbike swingarm but I ended up strengthening mine with my welder.......

The best way would be to remove the swingarm and reweld key places,,add gussetts to weak areas aswell as box-in the c-channel going to the rear tire......
yeah ill see what i can do, ha now i just have to find time to do all this..i have an anciant hobart welder at work ill try to get it runnin
