x18 pocket bike kick start very hard

Hi there, i bought my x18 used off of some guy on kijiji, i was riding it about a month ago in the middle of the ride it died and i kept on kick starting it to start at that time that i think something happened to my kick start, now its very hard to kick, i almost have to put all my force into it to kick it down, today my pocket bike died again, i replaced the cdi with performance cdi and put the old gas tank in, and turned it on with choke up, i let it sit for a couple of minutes to warm up, after a while it just turned off again, and everytime i kick start it, it spits lil fuel from of carb fuel lines. im just wondering if i broke anything while i was desperate kicking it. can someone tell me whats happening here please
