okay i have read all through the forums and have tried alot of what has been written but nothing is working for me.

The bike refuses to start sounds like it wants to but just wont kick over.
Alot of people on here say picture's say 1000 words but videos are priceless well i got a video for you guys of me trying to start it. This thing has stumped me i would really appreciate any help and its a brand new ngk spark plug in there so I know for a fact it cant be the spark plug. I know it cant be gas either because i have shot straight gas into the opening in the carb to see if it would respond and nothing happened . So please I beg someone help me!;)

Hey I'm new to these things too but I've been slowly getting help from this awesome community here but looks like you're in the same boat as I. The battery looks to be dead and you're due for carb cleaning too. Look for my threads on here, and see what you can accomplish from there. I have videos and stuff too.

Look for look what I found on Craigslist and look for more threads by myself. that should help you out a lot!
from what I understand the battery isnt even neccessary to start the bike if your kick starting it so I believe that isnt a factor ill try to clean the carb to see if there is a problem with that. Thanks for your suggestion so far
Take the plug out and hook it to the coil wire like it was in the head now hold the plug tip to the bike metal like up to the motor now crank or kick it over and see if there is spark on the plug if you pour gas into the carb that may not work you may flood it its better to use ether or starting fluid

Also they kicking it over for a bit while twisting the throttle and then immediately. Remove the plug and c if is is wet and smells like gas if so then there is def no spark
thanks for the reply i checked if it had spark and it definatly does, its also getting gas so i really have no thought as to why its not starting. =/
It may be getting too much gas and flooding it when you pulled the plug was it all wet with gas
No it was actually suprisinly dry,And i cleaned the carb out and its fully functional so i know its giving gas as well. Any thoughts?
So you cleaned out the jets with a needle or paperclips I still say get some starting fluid take off the air filter and open the throttle all the way and spray some in then try and start it that way we know for sure it's not carb related
Or we can start with step one is the choke on I just gotta ask

And what happened was there any drivability problems before this happened
Has it been sitting
Did you ride it the other day and now it won't start???
Yep i cleaned them out still nothing and ive doen it with choke on off mid way all type of positions, but okay ill run out as soon as i can and get some starting fluid.
okay now my carb is just leaking gas out the bottom line and through the front as well. thats a bad sign correct? stopped leaking now dont know why but it just did. and now it sounds different like a deeper sound when i try to kick it over.
prelude i just tried with starting fluid and nothing happened it sounded the same.
Hmmm next thing is to check compression pull the plug and kick it over see if there is pressure and sucktion on your finger over the spark plug hole
The deeper sound would be the throttle open probably
When you checked for spark was it a blue color and also have someone kick it over and see if the coil wire is arching out somewhere it may have worn a hole in it also
first thing i checked on the bike was the compression it definatly has it sucked my finger skin in lol and the spark is a blue/whitish color.
Ok wow so starting fluid did not work spark is good and there is compression but is there enough I would think it should be over 120psi for good compression even 90 should try to run
Unless the timing chain broke or here is a bent valve
So you never told me how it came to this did you just get the bike or it sat for a while or when was the last time it ran and was there any unusual problems before this?
the timing chain is fine i took off the head and checked all of it out nothing wrong no bent valves either and its compression is pretty good around 115 the machine said, and i got the bike with the engine out of it the guy said he was going to upgrade to a 125cc in the bike but didnt have enough money so he sold it as is. so i put it in the bike and this is the result thus far
you took the head off? thats not a really hard job but if you dont know a few things then bad things can happen
i detonated my 114 kit from not torquing the head to 10ftlbs, plus there is little o rings and guides that have to go back in the same
are the valve rockers too tight or loose? you can take off a valve cap and grap the rocker, you should be able to get a small tic out of it if you wiggle it, if its solid then the valves need to be gapped
I am not a newcomer when it comes to working on the pocket bikes so i know about all the parts going back into there spots and the correct torques of the screws so i know i have done everything and i seem to still be not getting a response from the engine and everything seems like its correct it just wont turn over im totally stumped.
The same thing happened to me. We cleaned the carb, got a new NGK spark plug, and put new gas in the tank and it seemed to fix it right up. Hope this works!
Done all of that still nothing, any thoughts guys?
