Not sure all of the harnesses are the same, the x15, X18, x19 are from buyang and if i remember correctly the x12, x17, x22 are from another manufacturer. I see a lot of differences in the x15, X18, x19 wire harnesses depending on importer and year. In general they are the same but plug ends switch genders, number of wires in some of the plugs are different and wire colors vary. Using a generic diagram like the one posted by jaykauffman http://www.pocketbikeplanet.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=49866&d=1335152480 is the simplest. Otherwise get a dirt bike wire harness for a bike with electric start. It will be the most basic and will be fairly easily adaptable but most likely not plug and play.

Identifying 110cc pocket bike

Hello I'm new at this forums thing. I recently bought a pocket bike off Craigslist and don't know much about it. Pretty sure it's a 110 cc bravo fighter but not sure on much other then that. It's has a manual 4 speed trans electric start with no pull start or kick start it is in multiple pieces because the guy I bought it from claims it was bored to 125cc. First how can I figure out exactly what bike it is so I can buy parts? Second how do I know if it is really bored? I also need wiring diagrams. And third where can I get parts cause it is missing a lot? U can email me answers at [email protected] thank you it would be much appreciated.

Thats an X22..........That bikes NOT bored to 125cc's and its definately not 2 stroke!...The biggest I ever got a 110cc engine is 126cc and thats with a 56mm piston and a 51mm stroke.....I know for a fact that person didnt put that kind of work into a semi-auto engine because I know what it costs to do it too.......It would be way cheaper just to buy a 125cc brand new off ebay...........Id offer $50 bux.......Its gonna need alot of work......

The guy might have put the 125cc kit ( 114cc ), I have a new one here w/ a steel cylinder and one w/ alum 114c cyld kit. Stock 110cc ( 107cc ) is 52.4mm and a 49.5mm stroke. The 114 kit has a 54mm cyld and hp high top piston. My 125cc ATV has a 52.4mm bore and a 57mm stroke or ( 120cc ), there are all kind of combos, from 50cc to 70cc and 90 to 125cc engines w/ the same cases. There are 4 speed manual, semi auto and full auto transmissions. If you have a 54mm bore you have a 114cc, 125cc kit.

LOL...I doubt he'd sell it for only $200.00 if that was evident and the seller wouldnt call it a 125cc 2 stroke if he had the engine apart...In the pic it has the stock black finned head and doesnt even run..The seller says it needs the electrical completed.......I think its got a blown stator and mucked-up wiring

The stock black finned head has enough meat to be bored to 56mm's safely...Just boring the cylinder to 56mm's makes a 110cc a 122........Alls youre losing is the skirt but your gaining power beyond beleif but if you beleive the guy actually bored it out ask him what the bore size is and tell us what he says...probably will say a buddy did it or a shop did it and he doesnt know...............LOL

Yes its an X22 Ive owned a couple of them..Semi auto and full auto 110cc engines dont have kickstarters...only 70cc semi-auto engines and 110cc full manual engines...........Good Luck finding a body

A $6 dollar welding tip cleaner tool from Home depot and a $4 can of carb cleaner would be faster............

Even if you find a whole body like X18, you looking at least $300 to your door. I saw a new X18 seat & rear fender only, $50. For that you can buy another bike.

Youre gonna need some blue butt connectors and a few ground loops plus two weatherproof terminal ends and a 10 amp ATC blade type fuse...........youre also gonna need some 12-14 gauge primary wire and some electrical tape

Pull the two wire connection plug going into the solenoid away from the harness nd pull the starter pushbutton harness wire plug from the harness aswell........

cut both plugs off the ends...on the starter pushbutton side crimp one butt connector and one terminal end.......

ground the terminal end to the frame..........

take the yellow wire with green stripe coming from the solenoid and hook it to the wire that you crimped the butt connector onto........

on the yellow wire with red stripe crimp on a weatherproof female wire terminal........grab a piece of primary wire about 1-2ft and crimp a weatherproof terminal end onto one end....

Take the 10 amp ATC blade type fuse and plug both terminal ends into the fuse........take the primary wire end thats not hooked up and with a multimeter find the side of the keyswitch wire that powers up when the key is turned on..........strip the wire a lil and hook the primary wire into it and tape it up...........

when you turn on the key the engine will crank when the button is pushed eliminating all safety interlocks...........

That another problem I have. No ignition or keep just a toggle switch. And I don't know what any of the wires that I have go to. I think most are the head lights blinkers taillight a horn speedo and tack but not sure exactly which ones go where I have the harness unhacked.

remove the harness,,,unwrap it,,,lay it out on a bench and take clear pics of it....Ill edit what needs to be kept and what needs to be cut away.........

This is how I got my second X22...The old owner crashed it after a week of owning it and the engine wouldnt start afterwards and couldnt figure out the problem so he was gonna rip off the engine and put a 6.5hp ohv honda clone engine in it and lost interest........

Alls that happened was the stator blew and needed replacing...The wiring was a mess and it only took 35 mins to make a new harness,,40 mins to slap it back together and get the bike running after swapping in an old stator from an x15 I had as a spare........
