I bought this bike about 2 months ago. With in these 2 months i have had the following problems: Frame ripped, bolts stripping, chain broke, carb needle keeps falling out, replaced fuel lines, replaced the voltage regulator, and electrical issues that just wont go away.On top of that before replacing my voltage regulator it wouldn't charge my batteries and it took me forever to figure that out, and that killed 2 batteries. And i finally getting it working and my exhaust hanger comes off and burns my battery. I have fixed everyone of these things one by one, and yet i can not get the electrical problem to go away. Some wires were crossed and I didn't notice after blowing 20 fuses, now the bike starts up and runs. But now the gauges dont work, any ideas? Anyone else have an X6 on this forum?:mad:

The metal is real cheap and thin on the x6 chassis. They always break in the shock area especially when anybody tries to stiffen up the rear shock. The electrical system on all these bikes are a joke. Your better off just keeping the essential wiring to start the bike and get rid off everything else.

Ya thats exactly where mine ripped, that sounds like a good idea, any other mods you have done on it? And have you found any good sites that sell parts for this bike?

I think Cam2 posted up a wiring diagram. As far as gauges i have a trail tech vapor that i use on my bike i race. I got rid of all the wiring what so ever the China connectors will fail rather sooner than later.

It sux the Vector w/built-in laptimer doesnt have a tachometer.........That would of been a sweeter unit to have on your racebike swheels
