ZPF question

Since I need 2 more post, before I can post in the pocket bikes for sale section, I figured I would ask you guys two questions.

1. Am I reading the rules correctly, do I need 3 post in Newbie/introduction page before I can post anywhere else?

2. Are ZPF's even still being bought. I've put over $2000 into my bike and I'm looking for at least $700, would like to get 800...think that's too much?

P.S I have pics if anyone's interested
It's a zpf 204, with
SE-III Silencer Large Exhaust Pipe
ZPF 70 tooth rear chain ring and 7 tooth front sprocket gear
A brand new from Mini Moto USA, Zoechi #1000102 Adult Racing Clutch (Installed 7-1-13)
New NGK plug
Two R6.5 radial Italian Soft Racing Slicks
starts right up on first to second pull

Thanks a lot

Well ZPF is not longer making bikes.. I believe parts are still around. You have a nice bike and your in the ballpark.. I doubt you will get what you want for it unless its a 50.. ITs crazy what people end up selling their race bikes for sometimes.. 40cc or 50? Water or Air cooled? Where are you located, 2 shoe zocchi or 3 shoe? Either way Expensive clutch... lol All kinds of factors. Wish I had money to consider it...

Good luck on the sale..
Thanks N!pples, I really appreicate all the help. It is a 50 cc, air-cooled, two shoe clutch
hi, i'm new to these forums and have recently aquired a zpf ecoflyer bike(cc's ?). the problem i'm having is finding a replacement clutch assembly. the clutch i took out is 2 shoe adjustable, mounted on an aluminum plate with a small offset center section(bringing the shoes slightly closer to the engine case) and a 10mm keyed shaft hole. i've looked and looked everywhere and can't seem to find a clutch assembly like this one. any suggestions/sources for parts??????

MidSouth minimotos....
I think you can still get a clutch $14.99 and a piston kit w/ rings, pins, clips and bearing for $12.99 and new 50cc Cyld $19.99 shipped, buy them now before he runs out, when there gone, there gone. I have that clutch and piston kit I got from them here, trying to mod it to fit a different engine and the 40mm piston was going in a Cag reed port engine. hkmotos in Hong Kong shipped air mail. midisouthminimotos will be $200 + for a clutch.
What brand clutch is on it... Any nice 80mm Zocchi or BZM Clutch will fit... 3 shoe or 2 shoe... Mid South Carries them for sure... Not too cheap but great clutches...
i'm not really sure what clutch is in it. my son just got it and the clutch shoes are worn out. i can't find any identifying marks on the clutch. im assuming that they might be original?????
I believe the bikes made in China, correct me if I'm wrong. Midisouth carries Euro parts. I had to mod my cases and the real Polini clutch housing to fit my 40cc Polini clone engine. For $48 shipped you can get a clutch, piston kit and new cyld from hkmotos, get the clutch on and ride it and get a $200 clutch later. Its a racing bike, there is no cruising around, what wears the clutch pads is getting on the gas and letting off, getting on the gas and let off, it over heats the clutch pads.
My 50cc C1 Blata clone bike wants to eat clutches too, lol. My last clutch on mine I burnt up drag racing, the whole pad came off.lol.
Huh, I thought the Original ZPF's were Euro?! RychRacer would know.. I think he's got a ZPF engine or two...

But if there is no name on the clutch the clutch is probably china made.. So maybe the bike is.. lol

Real ZPF's were made in Italy.............
Ya, I thought so.. The frames were just way too nice... Like all good bikes China stole the name/style.... Bastards!
I thought it might be Euro, so I guess hkmotos sells parts for the copy bike . I have the piston and clutch here, they look pretty good for China parts. If it were me, I would buy the $15 clutch if it will fit your crank, get the bike on the road while looking a for a good clutch. I can measure mine.
Cam is Correct!! Original ZPF's are Italian made. Don't know of any Knock offs. The Ecoflyer I believe was just one of the very early generation Chassis.

Unmarked Clutch shoes aren't always China made. I've had a few from BZM and ones that came on my BMS that were unmarked. I think one good indication of cheap china is the Billet cut finish of the shoes. Good stuff has a very clean surface the cheap stuff is a little more rough.

Midsounthminimoto is your headquarters for euro parts.!!
yeah, i went with the hk clutch. at the minimum, maybe the shoes and springs will fit my backing plate------fingers are crossed
I have TONS of new ZPF, DM and GRC parts in a storage unit. From complete race bikes, to chassis, swingarms, BZM engines, ZPF engines, Polini engines, clutches, and everything else. Most are race spares (haven't raced in years), and brand new, so if anyone needs anything, I probably have it.
