Hello,
Santa dropped off a Monster Moto 212 Classic. It is still in the box and wrapped with a bow out on the patio. I live in a rural area with lots of forest trails to ride but I would love to tag the thing so I can occasionally ride it into town. We have no vehicle inspections in the county where I live so that is probably a plus.
The rated top speed is 33 mph but I'm sure I can tweak the governor and get it up to 40 which is the speed limit on the roads where I intend to ride. It is powered by a $100 Harbor Freight Predator engine so no big deal if it blows but I don't think bumping it up to 4,500 rpms will hurt anything.
I own a business here selling metal buildings and I've been looking for something else to sell. I asked for and received a dealer kit from Monster Moto and it looks easy enough to get started.
I googled Georgia law and looks like pocket bikes and mini bikes fall into the same category as motorcycles as long as it has no more than 3 wheels, a seat and larger than 50 cc, so I'm good. We don't even need a title here to tag a vehicle, just a bill of sale. How cool is that?
So I need a street legal kit or else I have to piece one together and that is where I hoping the good people on the forum can help me out. At a minimum I need a *** headlight (hopefully one that will fit my housing), tail/brake light, turn signals, horn and perhaps a battery/voltage regulator system. Am I missing anything? Thanks
