Hi, I just discovered this forum and I just want some advice on how to swap the engine on my 49cc x7. I know its going to require some cutting and welding, and I would love to learn that. Hell I could even just buy a new bike entirely but I always wanted to fulfill this stupid dream of mine lol, pretty much got nothing to lose on this old bike.

Very easy to make your own engine motor mounts. If you have access to a welder that's half the battle.
You can cut the engine cradle off. To use some of the metal. To make the motor mounts out of. Also I would suggest going to a hydraulic brake setup. The cable brakes will not be strong enough. To stop the bike, they will heat fast and fail.
The x18 and x7 are very similar chassis style.
I will post pics later of 1 of my chassis later.
